I am currently spending three months - January, February & March - in the city of Iquitos, Peru, in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest.

I am immersing myself in the culture and language of this beautiful city, the largest in the world without roads leading to another city.

I am working as an international freelance photographer, shooting pictures of the city and the Jungle for publication in various magazines as well as my own series of books.

Even though I am in South America, technology keeps me connected with the day-to-day operations of my business in Nebraska. I am able to access the internet, so I can send and recieve emails and communicate via Facebook. I am also able to check the studio answering machine to retrieve messages and I can return calls to clients and potential clients.

I am returning to Kearney, Nebraska the first week in April.
